there are some resin items out there...they are close but not really exact copies..
there is an awesome laser etched Kirkey based seat...
probably the closest kit seat would be something out of a 2006/2007 Monte Carlo Revell kit...which come up on ebay on occasion...(there were 3 recently...i think they went for like 10-15 bucks)
i just build my own using the seat out of a Revell snapper kit...i trim it and shape it...then add all the wrap around stuff and use foam to build up the seat...

I bought mine at Shapeways. I think they were about $6 but need a little work to bring them up to plastic model standards. Some sanding, primer, paint and some material for the inside sections and they're acceptable once tucked into the interior. |
