Does anyone know anything about Salvino's JR Models? They are issuing a 1/25 Buddy Baker 1980 Gray Ghost car in March.

There has been lots of chatter about this on some of the other sites I frequent. Most people seem comfortable with their ability to produce the kit but most seemed to be inclined to order/buy from an established dealer. Some have seen the test version of the kit and were pretty complimentary about it. |

40 bucks plus shipping? too much for that kit. by the looks of it. it looks more like it's based on the old amt and model king kits. maybe if it was more like the taurus AM was supposed to release years ago it would be worth it.

Sample shown is a cobbled up sample.....tooling is being cut now.
Street price is being shown as more like $33-34 range not much different than RM kits. 30+ days away......or that's what they say. |

The photo shown is a cobbled up sample. Tooling was started AFTER the sample was shown. How good??? we'll all see at some point. |
