Does anyone on here have any idea when the BA '81 Buick will be shipping and also, have they given any indication what other subjects they plan to release of that kit?

With their current licensing agreements, we could likely see a Bobby Allison Ranier and maybe even a modern reissue of the Buddy Baker Hawaiian Tropic car.

My understanding is the holdup on the Salvinos /monogram kits is that the window molds were missing and having to be made and they are making a new tire mold that does not have the raised Goodyear lettering on it. The Allison Gatorade Buick and Yarbourgh Hardess Monte Carlo are ready to go as soon as windows and tires are ready and that should be real soon.

Cool. That's what I figured but, these days my memory only comes to work a few days a week. Just making sure my bean wasn't fritzing again. Very Happy

I recall them being too narrow at the bottom of the A pillar.

Hopefully the new window glass mold will address the fit issues that were inherent in a multi - million shot mold wherein the parting lines & shut - off's shifted or disappeared over time. Very Happy

These are from the old Monogram molds, so 1/24th.

Talked to Jim over at Salvinos and he said the pre orders on the Allison Buick should be shipping this week sometime.

It would be nice to get some those none raised tires to use with for other NASCAR kits from the 90s.
