Saw Bennie drive the pop cola car at Atlanta in the summer of 72.
He stayed around long after every other driver had left, signing autographs.
I still have the post card of that car he signed on that hot afternoon.
He was every bit the gentleman that the other drivers were not.

You are tight about Bennie being a fine gentleman. I ran into him, actually ran into him when I turned a corner at Phoenix raceway. I had my head down and he was looking elsewhere and we gently collided. We talked briefly and I can say I was truly amazed at how nice and pleasant Bennie was.

Saw him drive the Bullseye BBQ T'Bird at the first race win for Alan Kulwicki. No one today compares to the drivers that came before.
