From 1972, one of the orignal MPC NASCAR issued kits:

The decals held up until the box it was stored in spent 6 months in a NON climate controlled storage unit from July 2005 to January 2006. Could never find the box it was stored in, after numerous attempts. Had to have been close to the ceiling/roof, not buried under other boxes, as the heat did it's number....had coaed the body after decaling it in 1972 with Future....

From around 2004(?) The Dick Brooks/Mario Rossi #22 Daytona from the 1971 Daytona 500, with the 305CI engine under the hood.

Most likely not...don't remember the engine options for this or any of the other kits from that series.....most likely they "non-Hemi" heads in the box, but not what would have been considered that 305DI engine....
It was built out of the box.....back around '74 or '75............

The Dick Brooks car had a destroked 340 challenger trans am motor I believe. I've always wanted to do this car because of its historical significance. It was the last winged Dodge to compete in the cup series. Or at least that's what I read about it.

Seem to remember reading somewhere that when Bill France saw how competitive this car was, he outright outlawed these cars....
Though I could be wrong......
