Decades old build that stayed in the closet for ever.
Thought about redoing it but never could find replacement decals and now I'm glad I didn't as it is one of my oldest models I have left.
Just cleaned it up and put it in a case!

I loved the Javelin. It just looked fast...Nice old model...

Nice preservation and not that it needs to be, but if you were looking to re do it Fred Cady made a decal set for it and for the 70 Donohue Javelin T/A cars, they show up on ebay pretty regularly

There was a local racer named Bill Clemons. He ran AMC cars exclusively. He had a Javelin AMX that I always wanted to build but these kits are CRAZY expensive.

Love it! My original build is stored in a box somewhere in the house. I won my kit from a magazine ad contest. I believe it was from SUNOCO. My first 1:1 new car was a 1971 Javelin SST.

Great looking model. It would be great if a model company could reissue the old Matador and Javelin kits.
