|
|
I am sure this has been talked to death on here... planning on building the Pearson Hawaiian Tropic Olds with the Salvinos kit. Have the exterior color down, but i am unsure of the interior and wheel colors and specifics. The only decent pic i have is black and white. So...
What color was the interior?
Are the wheels white (yuck)?
Are the wheels 5 slot or 9ish slot?
Thx in advance to anyone that can help. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

18degrees, not 100% sure but after looking at quite a few shots of the Ellington cars from that period in general and several of the Pearson Old's specifically, it look's like the interior is semi-gloss blk. with a fair amount of bare aluminum.
Also, by then I think about all the cars were using the anti-heat material on the floor in front of the seat and often up to include the driveshaft tunnel. On the cars that I saw the most, it was an off, off white bordering on gray.

Here is a shot from the '80 Firecracker. Noticed in pics (mostly Monte Carlos) that after Pearson took over the car, the wheels were often black. Also, in every shot I've seen the wheels are 8 or 9 hole.
If you will scroll a couple of pics in each direction on this link, there is a limited shot of the cockpit taken after the Firecracker.
