KS: Few sporting venues can boast titles like the "Lady in Black" but one that sure can is the track too tough to tame; the Darlington Raceway here in South Carolina. Hello, everyone, I'm Ken Squier alongside NASCAR Hall of Famer, Darrell Waltrip. Welcome to the final race of the 2019 Fantasy Cup Series season; the Heinz 300.

DW: Ken, 220 laps and only 2 points stand between the top 3 and the championship. Bobby "The Sick Freak" Dravin and Darth Vader were able to close a pretty wide gap when points leader Terry Grant finished last after an incident last week.

KS: And an additional 5 points will be awarded to the 93j of Jeremy Rosander. He's the winner of the best looking car poll so congratulations to that team for building that very sharp looking Chevy Camaro. And with that, we go trackside for the opening ceremony.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please rise and remove your hats as the Army Field Band Brass Quintet performs our national anthem."

"And now, race fans, with the most famous words in motorsports, please welcome our grand marshal, 3-time NASCAR Winston Cup Series champion and South Carolina native, Cale Yarborough."

CY: Lady and gentlemen, start your engines!!

Green Flag

DW: Boogity boogity boogity!! Let's go win that championship!

KS: And this will be the toughest test for these drivers. It's the longest race of the season. We've seen a few engine problems and we know that this facility is hard on tires. Pole sitter Jeremy Rosander in the 93j comes out of turn 2 with about a car length advantage over Bobby Dravin in the 44 Skoal Bandit Chevy.

DW: We've got a few movers a little further back too, Ken. Terry Grant and Darth Vader just gained a couple spots and they're side-by-side.

KS: The points leader clears Vader going into turn 3. The leaders coming off of turn 4 for the first time. Jeremy Rosander will lead the first lap at Darlington.

Lap 53

KS: And we've got 2 cars in the wall. The Lowes Ford of Hick Strutlin tangles with the Chevy of Larry Fine. Both cars are still running but the right sides of both automobiles will need repairs. The caution is out. Strutlin and Fine are able to remain on the lead lap and pit road is now open.

DW: And this is a major break for Bobby Dravin. The 93j had opened up a huge lead.

KS: And the 44 crew go to work changing 4 tires and making a wedge adjustment.

DW: And the 46 is gonna take 2 tires and get off of pit road in 1st. Don't know about that decision, Ken. At this place, you pretty much wanna have 4 Mr. Feelgoods under you after every stop.

Lap 77

KS: And as expected, the 44 of Dravin has reeled in the 46 of Sealey. He'll take back the lead on the front stretch but not before the 46 crosses the line.

DW: And Jeremy Rosander has been going the wrong way since the restart. He's back to 5th.

Lap 106

KS: And we've got another car in the wall. The 98 of Lee Loggins. And he's hit hard in the right side by the 7 of Trish Grant.

DW: He'd been runnin' pretty hard with Cisco Rosander and I think the 93 just took the air off of his right rear.

KS: And Trish Grant, with nowhere to go, just plows into the 98 of loggins. Both cars sitting on the apron. Grant getting out of her automobile and she looks like she's making sure Lee is OK. He climbs out of the car. Good to see both of those competitors able to walk away after that scary incident.

Lap 181

KS: And the 87 Ford of Rob Stofel takes the 5th spot from Jeremy Rosander.

DW: Where'd he come from!? He's been on a rail since that last set of pit stops.

KS: Tremendous run that organization is having after such a dismal season. He sets his sights on that black Buick of Darth Vader.

White Flag

KS: One more lap to go. JR "Razorback" Sealey gambled on 2 tires early on and has kept his track position for most of this event. He trails Bobby "Sick Freak" Dravin by 2 car lengths in turns 3 and 4. Dravin slams the door on Sealy's run down the back straightaway.

DW: One more time! Last chance of the season. Sealey's gonna take that high line again.

KS: And they come out of turn 4. Dravin slams the door again. Say hello to your 2019 FCS champion as he wins the Heinz 300 at Darlington!

DW: Oh my gosh what a race!!

KS: Incredible fight for the win between Bobby Dravin and the 2013 champ JR Sealey. And now we take a look at the results for this event.

1. 44 - Bobby Dravin
2. 46 - JR Sealey
3. 87 - Rob Stofel
4. 6 - Darth Vader
5. 93j - Jeremy Rosander
6. 13 - Terry Grant
7. 73 - Larry Fine
8. 15 - Hick Strutlin
9. 93 - Cisco Rosander
10. 7 - Trish Grant (Out)
11. 98 - Lee Loggins (Out)

KS: Definitely not the kind of night Terry Grant wanted to see. 5 consistant finishes marred by an incident last week and he finishes the season 3rd in points. And an update on the 2 drivers involved in that terrible crash on lap 106. Lee Loggins and Trish Grant have both been checked out of the infield care center. Glad to see those 2 alright.

DW: What a season, Ken. We saw the highs, the lows, and the downright heartbreaking this season. Can't wait to do it all again next year.

KS: And with that, we conclude another exciting season of Fantasy Cup Series racing. For Darrell Waltrip, I'm Ken Squier. Thank you so much for joining us and we'll see you next year.

L.A.P.1 racing would like to congratulate our new driver and this years champion, The Sick Freak Bobby Craven. This was Bobbys first year racing after retiring from the Pro Wrestling ring. Also a huge thanks to Razorback 46 for the great job of reporting the races this year. He has really made the fantasy cup series an event to look foward to every year.
