Ok, so when Ace announced he was doing the 2016/2017 Smithfield Ford sheet, I got a bit excited. I squirreled away a few kits and planned on a nice build of Petty builds. Well, that went out the window. I found more kits on clearance, bought more decals and combined sources to build many more than I originally planned. All use Tamiya TS-10 French Blue, Revell kits, and Ace decals for the major markings, but others will be called out as well. So let me present, my 2014-2017 #43 Smithfield collection:

2014: Revell snap kit Additional: MPR decals for the hood "Helping Hungry Homes", deck lid "Smithfield" and a few other markings, and Stoney's 2013-2015 Ford markings sheet for the nose markings and 2015 STP sheet for the sponsor cluster and the vertical "Fresh from Florida" (and I have plans for the rest of that sheet...)

2015: Revell snap kit Stoney's 2013-2015 Ford markings sheet for the nose markings

2016: Revell snap kit with my attempt at a 2016 nose update.

2017: Revell glue kit. I modified the rear to super speedway specs to reflect Aric's best 2017 finish, 4th in the Daytona 500

2017, Bubba Wallace's first Monster Energy Cup start. Revell glue kit.

And since I'm a glutton for punishment and had a spare Ford glue kit, I decided to do a complete one off. I cobbled together decals from the Ace sheet, Stoney, MPR, Powerslide, and others plus a LOT of masking tape to build Aric's 2017 STP Ford as raced at Martinsville in the spring. I still need to add the TV panel lettering, when I can find the right sized font.
