It's from the 1969 Talladega 500, the first race where the Dodge Daytona was used. That's the only case I am aware of where the K&K team had the wing painted red, but the bumblebee tail stripe was white. At every other event, the wing and the stripe on that car were both white. I think it's also the only time where the lettering on the tail stripe said "Charger Daytona" instead of the more customary "Daytona".
The picture is probably from the pace lap - Isaac was on pole, with Jim Vandiver in the white/red Ray Fox Dodge #3 on the outside of the first row. You can see Vandiver's white car in the box art, I think the Moss-Thornton sponsorship is legible.

Correct.
Isaac inherited the pole after the tire boycott took out a bunch of the faster cars. |
