I have no earthly idea what it would cost a company to tool up a Nova late model sportsman. I do know that I would be in for buying several of them!

I don't know how to post pictures here, but I've got an engine bay picture of a Richard Petty car titled "the King's last Chrysler" from 1977. It has all braided hoses.

You could maybe try a heat gun? Mine has two settings. I don't remember the exact settings as far as temps go, but one is significantly higher than the other. I've never tried it on a body.
