As best I can tell, both pipes always exited on the drivers side on oval track cars while at Riverside both exited on the passengers side.

Tamiya's gray rattle can primer works well to cover those bright colored plastics. Big fan of their products.

The original issue of the S&H kit is molded in red. I have one.
